On July 12, 2023, a well-known, international, U.S.-based company entered the Swiss market, opening its store in Lausanne's Old Town. Founded in 1930, this doughnut chain has a global presence, with locations in the Middle East, Australia, and Asia. What’s special about them is that doughnuts – from the production of sponge dough to the application of glaze – are made in a live carousel that’s visible to customers. teamtischer was able to carry out this company’s first project in Switzerland, as the general contractor. The restaurant held a few surprises, as the acoustic and dust barriers to the existing store on the ground floor were practically non-existent. Now, only one thing remains: head to the new doughnut store to enjoy the sweet pastries!
