Rossmann’s Swiss expansion is moving at a fast pace, keeping our team busy with multiple parallel projects. Due to the geographical location, our Rossmann special team from Western Switzerland stepped in for the Visp project. The challenge was demanding: building a store on a relatively small footprint with very limited technical data available. There were several highlights: a second, additional sprinkler system was installed in just four days. Furthermore, the parking garage ceiling had to be scanned meticulously to safely core-drill the drainage pipes. Creative solutions were also required for smoke extraction (RWA), insulation, and ventilation in the basement storage area. Thanks to everyone’s tireless efforts, construction progressed so quickly that we finished almost two weeks ahead of schedule.
