In 2016, Sephora became well known among Swiss “beauty addicts” with its entry into the Swiss market in Geneva. Since then, numerous additional locations have opened, including shop-in-shop concepts in stores such as Manor and in shopping centers. However, the plan was always to operate independent, standalone stores. In February, the time had come: the premiere at Geneva’s Rue de la Croix-d’Or was celebrated. Calling it just a «shop» would be an understatement – across a spacious 320 m² of retail space, complemented by 120 m² of back-office area, Sephora presents its products generously in a high-quality, minimalist, and stylish environment. teamtischer managed the project as general contractor across all trades. The highlight: construction was completed on the originally planned date despite a two-week construction halt ordered by heritage protection authorities. As it turned out, the supposedly historically significant wall was simply an “old” wall.
