Conversion and redesign during ongoing operation
The title says it all – remodeling and completely redesigning a fitness center of this size in nine weeks during ongoing operations is an athletic achievement by itself. Planning, improvisation, and creativity were all required. We made decisions at a fast pace, guided the craftsmen creatively according to the demands of the situation, continuously adjusted, introduced changes, controlled the details of the implementation, and made sure that the deadlines were met.
The project utilized almost all conceivable trades: carpenters, electricians, heating/ventilation/air conditioning/sanitation, painters, lighting specialists, floor layers, mirror manufacturing and skirting boards fitting, stair lifts, gates, and sliding doors.
And on top of all that, the renovation was carried out during the busiest time of year for a fitness center, in January/February. Thanks to spatial planning in stages and a clean, safe separation of construction and operating areas, ongoing operations were minimally disrupted, and PureGym customers were able to pursue their fitness goals as usual.
