Dunkin’ has landed at the Glattzentrum — and in record time. teamtischer served as general contractor for Switzerland’s first Dunkin’ store in the brand’s new design, following a series of successful fit-outs in previous years. At the beginning of 2025, teamtischer took on full responsibility for architecture and planning, preparing the building application, budgets, and schedules. After the building permit was granted in May, orders and contracts were issued, and both timeline and budget were finalized. In just six weeks, the team built new floors, walls, and complete electrical and ventilation systems. A key challenge involved coordinating with the shopping center on smoke extraction and fire protection. teamtischer met these requirements with an innovative solution — a mobile smoke curtain developed specifically for this project. In line with sustainability goals, elements from previous Dunkin’ interiors were reused, adapted to the new design, and supplemented where needed. The result: a smooth landing for both Dunkin’ and teamtischer.
