Following the brand’s Swiss debut at the Emmen Center at the end of 2024, things moved fast. For five new locations in Biel/Bienne, Brunnen, Rapperswil, the Mall of Switzerland in Ebikon, and the Glattzentrum, teamtischer took on the role of general contractor. While each project shared the same overall concept, every site presented its own challenges — none more so than Biel. There, an 800 m² space spread over three floors required extensive adaptation of existing structures, floors, walls, and doors, along with the installation of a suspended ceiling. On such large surfaces, demands on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems were substantial. Adding to the complexity, the Biel site was located right in the heart of the old town — where the construction area had to be cleared and rebuilt twice to accommodate local events. Despite these hurdles, all five projects were completed successfully, and teamtischer is already gearing up for what comes next.
