With the vision to present itself as a one-stop-shop and world of experience for regional, sustainable, and contemporary energy, water, and ICT solutions, the Electricity and Waterworks of the City of Buchs (EWB) started its collaboration with teamtischer. The term "lounge" played a central role in the planning of the shop within the former office space. Serving as an 'eye-catcher,' the conversion ultimately aimed to increase foot traffic and, consequently, sales.

teamtischer developed room and design concepts for this project, presented materialization and furnishing options, and created renderings. After receiving the green light, the conversion was completed in a short three weeks, including the installation of a steel structure floor. Today, the shop, with the additional gallery floor for the academy and café, exudes a ¨cool¨ ambiance in the truest sense of the word.
