H&M, Monthey & Yverdon
In Stages and During Ongoing Operations
teamtischer Romandie renovated two large H&M stores. The projects in Monthey and Yverdon were especially challenging due to tight schedules. All four construction phases in Monthey and the two in Yverdon were carried out while the stores remained open. Time pressure meant many tradespeople working simultaneously on site. Doing so during ongoing operations required maximum coordination. The fact that the stores were being rebuilt according to a new design concept didn’t make things any easier. Naturally, the renovations came with their share of surprises.
In Monthey, structural issues surfaced after demolition, requiring adjustments in execution. In Yverdon, removing the old flooring was particularly tricky. Due to damage from the removal, an unplanned leveling layer had to be installed. To the client’s satisfaction, teamtischer handled all challenges so efficiently that there were no delays in the schedule.
